Robin Gray: Robin played for Billericay Cricket Club circa 1979 - 1980 having previously played, up North, with Redcar and Saltburn and, down South, with North Middlesex. Following successful seasons with Billericay, when they had first entered League Cricket (Division 3 of the Lillywhite Frowd League), Robin moved on and played for Barleycorns & Norwich Natives, Exmouth and Exeter St James before returning, up North, to Saltburn. Robin now has a relaxed life in Spain but still looks for his cricket boots on the last Saturday each April …. Robin’s son now works as Assistant Manager at the Saracen’s Head in Chelmsford so, hopefully, we shall be seeing Robin when he visits his son during the season..
